Static PDFs to Dynamic Intelligence: Redefining Economic Analysis for Germany Trade & Invest
Challenge
GTAI WirtschaftsDaten Kompakt, the official economic data service of Germany Trade & Invest, already provided trusted economic information to stakeholders worldwide.
Together with 23degrees, the goal was to take this solid foundation and evolve it into an interactive intelligence platform: one that made data easier to explore, compare, and act upon for investors, policymakers, and researchers alike.

Solution
We created a full design system with 50+ components and 10+ tailored visualization types, transforming static reports into an intuitive platform.
By interpreting how the database connected with user needs, the design bridged complex economic information with clear interactions, ensuring that data and interface worked seamlessly together.
From information architecture to responsive interaction patterns, the design strategy ensured clarity, usability, and scalability for future data expansion.

CONTEXT
GTAI Wirtschaftsdaten Kompakt (Economic Data Compact) had long delivered reliable economic insights, and with this new platform, the same international data sources are transformed into dynamic visualizations and side-by-side comparisons. What once required scanning through pages is now presented in clear, interactive, and comparable formats that speed up understanding and analysis.
Solution
The new platform integrates data from 26+ global sources and delivers it through an intuitive interface. With 50+ design components, 10+ visualization types, and mobile-first interactions, economic intelligence becomes clear, interactive, and scalable.
